December 21–31, 2025 Grocery Hauls – The Christmas Week Blur in Four Trips

Posted on January 5, 2026

Hey friends,

Happy New Year! I blinked and the last ten days of December disappeared. Between Christmas prep, family celebrations, late-night wrapping sessions, and the general joy (and exhaustion) of the season, time slipped through my fingers like dry cookie dough. I meant to share each haul as it happened, but… life. You know how it goes.

So here’s the recap — four separate runs from December 21 to New Year’s Eve, each one keeping our table full, our traditions alive, and our boys (mostly) happy. Here’s the evidence, straight from the kitchen island:

Big Y haul from December 21
December 21 – Big Y run: chips, deli cheese, almonds, and all the pre-Christmas snack fuel
Market32 haul from December 23
December 23 – Market32: the star of the show was the gorgeous rib roast for Christmas Day dinner
BJ
December 30 – BJ’s bulk restock: milk, heavy cream, salad dressings, eggs — getting ready for the new week
Big Y haul from December 31
December 31 – Big Y New Year’s Eve run: fried seafood, cheese, raspberry danishes, snacks, and Tost for the midnight toast

Looking back at these pictures, I’m struck by how much love is packed into ordinary grocery bags — the chips that fueled late-night gift wrapping, the rib roast that fed our Christmas table, the milk that never seems to last long enough, and the bubbly Tost we clinked at midnight while the boys cheered in the new year with sparkling cider.

It was a blur, yes — but a beautiful one. Full of lights, laughter, too many cookies, and the quiet miracle of provision day after day. Just like Psalm 23 says, “my cup overflows.” Even when the cup is a grocery cart.

Here’s to a new year full of full tables, full hearts, and maybe slightly fewer last-minute grocery runs (a girl can dream).

What was your favorite holiday grocery find this year? The one that made the season feel special? Drop it below — I’m already planning January meals!

With a fresh calendar and a grateful heart,
